OSDBU Mission Statement
Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization assists, counsels, and advises small businesses of all types (small businesses, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small businesses, economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses, veteran owned small businesses, service disabled veteran owned small businesses, and small businesses located in historically underutilized business zones) on procedures for contracting with Treasury.
Treasury Dynamic Forecast
In accordance, with Public Law 100-656, the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988, amended the Small Business Act to place new emphasis on acquisition planning. The Department of Treasury (Treasury) is required to publish a Forecast of Contract Opportunities (Forecast) that includes projections of anticipated contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold that small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, women-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses may be able to perform under direct contracts with the Department, or through subcontracting opportunities.
What are Vendor Outreach Sessions?
Vendor outreach sessions (VOS) are pre-arranged 15-minute appointments with Small business specialists. These sessions provide the small business community an opportunity to discuss their capabilities and learn of potential procurement opportunities. Appointments are limited to 15 minutes to allow all vendors an equal opportunity to introduce their company. Unless noted otherwise, registration is required to attend most events. To make an appointment, please log in or sign up, if you do not have an account. Optionally, you can put yourself on a Wait List, in case you do not want to create an account or the event is full.
